words put next to each other

just finished reading 'the film club' by david gilmour.

the book is about a father [not a priest] who gives his 16 year old son the option of not finishing school. his son takes it.however the option comes with a few rules: no drugs. and every week the son has to sit down with his father and watch 3 films of his fathers choosing. then they have to discuss them. very easy going book with a nice flow through it. the relationship between father and son being tested along the way. i think the time frame is over a couple of years and the list of films watched are listed in the back. the father also questions whether he is doing the right thing. hoping to strengthen the confidence of his son and provide an underlying support and confidence that i think a lot of kids his age would have had appreciated. and in my opinion wouldn't have come from an institution like school.

a great book about immortality and beyond. its a work of fiction that involves a perfumerie[ is that what they're called] , a greek mythical god pan , who reeks but can bring about women to heightened sexual states and a journey through hundreds of years. if you can relax and let yourself go on the journey with him, you'll enjoy it. then again, i have an 80 page rule. if im not in a book by 80 pages im out.
